Emergencies and crises happen …
When they do, will you and those under your care be ready to pick up the pieces, maintain communication, coordinate necessary actions, and/or continue on with your work? By working with the Red Rock Continuity of Learning team, you can ensure that you, your students, and/or your fellow workers will be able to answer, “YES!”, to the above question.
The Continuity of Learning team will work with you to proactively establish both a plan and a solution for maintaining up-to-the-minute communication between all stakeholders in your school or business during an emergency or crisis by performing the following services :
- Assessing your unique needs and specifications for a Continuity of Learning
- Understanding your current plan(s) for continuing your school or business’ operations during a crisis situation
- Working with you and your current plan(s) to create a solutions package that will support your existing plan(s)
- Suggesting options to complement your existing solutions to meet the communication needs during a crisis or emergency
Our mission here is two-fold:
- to work with you to create an online communications solution to ensure that, during an emergency or crisis, the leadership staff of your school or business can communicate quickly and timely with all those under their care
- to work with you to create an online learning system (for schools) or an online communication system (for business) within your school or business that will enable your school or business to continue with its operations during an emergency or crisis
How it would work
Your Continuity of Learning will have two foundational elements:
- Your email and other asynchronous communication system (the LMCS)
- Your live video and web conferencing communication system
You’ll need both in order to provide the strongest, most reliable, and most effective communication system for any environment.

Some may ask, “Why should I use your service when I could do this myself or have one of my staff members in IT do this?”. That is a great question. The answer really isn’t about CAN you do this yourself, but the question is about SHOULD you do this yourself.
- In an emergency, do you really want to have the added responsibility and work to implement, manage, trouble-shoot, etc. “the plan”?
- In an emergency, wouldn’t you value knowing that a trusted team of service providers will be responsible for overseeing the details of your crisis communication plan?
A Quick Word on What Our Continuity of Learning Team Does Not Provide
The Crisis Communication Solutions team does not write the crisis or emergency plan(s) for your school or business, nor does the team develop solutions for evacuation, hostage negotiation, physical security of property or people, or the like. Our specialty is working with you to create online solutions that will complement your existing plan(s), will enable easy and timely communication among the members of your school or business immediately after and during a crisis or emergency, and will enable the operations of your school or business to continue during a crisis or emergency.
